Seeking out progression within your career is just so important in our eyes. Progression means that you’re not always going to be the one at the bottom of what you do, getting put with all the jobs that you don’t really want to do. But if you’re not seeking progression in any way, then you shouldn’t really expect anything less from the careers that you’re going for. But if you are someone who is seeking progression, and the career you’re in at the minute just isn’t giving you any juice, then we might have just the perfect article that’s going to help you. It’s all about finding out what suits you, as well as finding out what’s going to offer you the most. Some people go into their working career to a job they don’t actually have a passion or a deep likening for, they just know that one day it’ll give them good money, and this is totally the wrong attitude to have. So instead, we’re going to show you careers that we know it’s easy to get a passion for, and that we know have a lot of progression in it. All of them won’t require any relevant qualifications, so if you’re prepared to take a leap, these will all just be things you can dive right into.
Real Estate
Real estate is definitely a career you want to try and pursue, simply because there’s so many different paths that this one could take you down. You don’t have to have any previous qualifications to go into something like this, and that’s what we love about it. All you need to have is an eye for some good real estate, and be able to have the gift of the gab. You need to be talking to the people you come into contact with through a whole showing, or a whole day of showings, and the only topic you talk to them about can’t just be the real estate that you see! But this really is a career that could take you nationwide, or worldwide. You can easily make new contacts in different areas, that would allow you to build up a clientele, and start to progress through the real estate business. And that’s what we love about this. As someone who is going into this new, you will most likely start off by working for a company. But you could then so easily go solo, following your own path and managing your own progression. Similarly, you could also stay employed within a company, and reap all of the rewards that would come with this!
Travelling The World
We might have made that sound a little bit more glamorous than it is, but then again if you’re travelling the world no matter how you do it, there are surely glamourous sides to it! So there are two options for you here, and option number one might only suit a select few of you. It’s to become cabin crew, with airlines all over the world. You could go with a big airline like Emirate, and see yourself travelling to all sorts of remote parts of the world. But there’s always progression, but not just in terms of your career, but with your life. You could relocate to a different country through these airlines, meaning your main base could be somewhere amazing and tropical, and opportunities like this just can’t be passed up. The second career option, is to become a travel rep in another country. It would not mean you going to a party country to do a season, you could easily go to one of these luxurious countries, such as the Maldives, and that would be your base. All you need to be is a people person with a love for travel, and these opportunities would really suit you!
Recruitment
Recruitment is something that you definitely want to swing towards if you’re looking for progression, just because there are so many options that you can follow. Whether you’re on the business side of things, or employees, you’ll still have contact with so many different people, and a lot of responsibility weighing on your head. It’s a fast paced career, but the upside of it is the money is good when you work your way up! But working your way up is hard, and it’ll mean a lot of hours in the office. But if you become passionate about this career, there’s no end to the amount of money you could make, all over the world as well!
